The keys to 270 newly built apartments in the Kamendin settlement were handed over to refugee families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. The ceremony was held on World Refugee Day, and the residential buildings were built within the framework of the Regional Housing Program (RHP), whose largest donor is the European Union. Among all the projects financed by the EU, the greatest joy comes from those that focus on people, their rights, dignity and happiness, said Ingve Engstrom, head of the cooperation sector of the EU Delegation in Serbia.
