The completion of works on the reconstruction of the Kolubara, Obnica and Jablanica riverbeds, carried out as part of the European Union project “Reconstruction of infrastructure for flood protection”, was marked by the visit of the head of the EU delegation in Serbia, Sam Fabrizi, and the director of the Austrian Cultural Forum, Adrian Fijks. They, accompanied by the director of the Office for the Management of Public Investments Marko Blagojević, the director of the Public Enterprise “Srbija vode” Goran Puzović and the mayor of Valjevo Lazar Gojković, visited the site near the bridge for Veselinović on the river Obnica, where they saw the works carried out, in the park opposite the Center for culture as a symbol of friendship and cooperation planted trees and addressed the media on the Kolubar quay, under the painted pedestrian bridge with the inscription “European Union and Valjevo together against floods”.
