The foundation stone for the new building of the research and development institute for biosystem information technology BioSens was ceremonially laid today in Novi Sad. The inauguration was attended by the Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia, Mateja Norčič Štamcar, and in addition to her, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić, the Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević, the director of the BioSens Institute Vladimir Crnojević, the head of the EIB for the Western Balkans Alessandro Bragonzi, the first vice president Government of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ružić, as well as delegations from numerous embassies in the Republic of Serbia. Before the laying of the foundation stone, a visit and presentation of the projects of the Biosens Institute, which are located in the building of the Rectorate of the University of Novi Sad, was organized.
