Author Silke Scheuermann, in her book “Rich Girls,” leaves unfinished life stories of her characters that invite readers to reflect, introspect, and gain self-awareness. This was the conclusion of the Book Club Europe event held on August 18th at Bulevar Books.
The fifth edition of the Book Club Europe included the participation of:
- Vladimir Gvozden, Professor at the Department of Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad
- Miloš Pankov, Head of the Information and Referral Center at the City Library in Novi Sad
- Tamara Srijemac, Journalist
- The conversation was moderated by Adriana Dondo, a student at the Department of Comparative Literature.
The Literary Club Europe is a recurring event organized in collaboration with the EU Info Point, the Department of Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy, and the City Library in Novi Sad.
The book “Rich Girls,” published by “Kontrast izdavaštvo,” was released with the support of the Creative Europe program as part of the project “Most/Die Brücke.” The project aims to connect two cultures through translations of contemporary German authors into Serbian and Serbian authors into German.
