Under the slogan “Always together – united in diversity”, today we celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), in memory of May 17, 1990, when the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the list of diseases. As every year, thousands of initiatives will take place around the world today, the aim of which is to raise awareness about the violation of the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, as well as intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) people. This year we commemorate IDAHOBIT as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948 at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris. On the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), the photo exhibition “FLOWERS – EuroPride 2022 through an analog lens” was opened at the Pride Info Center in Belgrade, the author of which is Filip Bojović (1984), a graphic designer and photographer who lives and works in Novi Sad.
