The Independence Day of Ukraine was marked by unfurling the Ukrainian flag on Republic Square in Belgrade. The gathering in the center of Belgrade was preceded by the March of Solidarity with Ukraine. Several hundred people, including representatives of the diplomatic corps and the Ukrainian community, walked from Pionirski Park to the Republic Square, where the anthems of Serbia and Ukraine were played and a minute’s silence was observed to pay tribute to those who died in the war.
