On December 2, Minister for European Integration Tanja Miščević and Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, signed the Framework Agreement on Financial Partnership between Serbia and the European Commission on the rules for implementing EU financial assistance to Serbia within the IPA 3 program in the amount of more than 1 billion euros. The agreement has been sent to the National Assembly for ratification, and the funds will be directed towards promoting long-term economic and social reforms in Serbia based on green and digital transition. The funds will improve the acquisition of new skills and qualifications, as well as employment opportunities, will further encourage a competitive and innovative Serbian economy, strongly support reforms of the rule of law and improve the safety and security of citizens.
