Economic growth, minority rights and environmental protection were the focus of the two-day visit of EU Ambassador to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret to Novi Pazar. The Head of the EU Delegation, together with his colleagues, Ambassador of Slovenia Damjan Bergant and Deputy Ambassador of France Fatih Akcal, started his visit to this region with a meeting with Mayor Nihat Biševac. After the meeting, Ambassador Giaufret said that in the past decade, numerous projects were implemented in Novi Pazar through the predecessors of the EU PRO plus program, as well as through the IPA cross-border program Serbia-Montenegro.
