The International Agriculture Fair, which will be held at the Novi Sad Fair form May 18-23, has gained a strong partner – the European Union. The protocol on business cooperation between the Novi Sad Fair and the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Serbia was signed today, with the signatures of the Head of the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Serbia, Ambassador Emanuele Giaufret, and the General Director of the Novi Sad Fair, Nikola Lovrić. The Ambassador of the European Union in Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, said that agricultural practices are developing quite quickly, both in Europe and globally, towards a more sustainable use of resources and greener technologies, which re some of the main goals of the European Union. At the same time, the Ambassador pointed out that the EU is working to ensure the highest standards in terms of food safety, as well as in the field of protection of public health of people, animal health and planet welfare.
