At this year’s 90th International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, Italy was the partner country.
In 2022, the trade exchange between Italy and Serbia reached a record 4.6 billion euros, making Italy one of the most significant European partners for Serbia.
In this “anniversary” fair year, Italian participation was enriched with a cultural program. Together with the Italian Cultural Institute, the “Italian Culture Week in Novi Sad” was organized, featuring music, dance, theater, film, art, and linguistics.
During the fair, the project “Support to the Establishment of a Carcass Classification System in Line with the EU Common Agricultural Policy” was presented. This project directs meat producers in Serbia towards market and consumer demands, helping them improve the quality of their production.
