The main theme of this year’s EU-Balkans Youth Forum was “Future of the Western Balkans: How Can Youth Shape Europe?” and it took place from December 13 to 15 in Novi Sad.
Young participants at the Forum had the opportunity to explore how collaboration between the region and the European Union can initiate positive changes in three areas: regional integration, environmental protection, and human capital.
The recommendations compiled by the youth during the three-day event were presented to Andrea Hohuber, Head of the Sector for European Integration and Economy at the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, Cristina Caputo, Deputy Director for the Adriatic Region and the Balkans at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Ivana Antonijević, Assistant Minister for Tourism and Youth, and Amer Kapetanović, Chief of the Department for Policy at the Regional Cooperation Council.
