European Film Festival Opening

This year’s European Film Festival in Niš began in a crowded hall of the Officers’ Home, with great interest from the audience. The program opened with a screening of the documentary “The Silence of Others” from 2018, produced by the Almodovar brothers. After that, the film “Diamantino” by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt was shown. Spectators could attend a welcome cocktail before the official opening of the festival, and in the opening part, all the guests of the festival were greeted by the representatives of the City of Niš, the EU Info Point and the Media and Reform Center. The audience in Niš will have the opportunity to watch two films each evening from July 4 to 6, at 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm. All screenings are in the hall of the Officers’ Home or in the garden, depending on weather conditions. Entrance is free, as every year.
