The event “European Village” in Zrenjanin stands out as a unique happening in Serbia for the year 2023, embodying the motto of the European Union, “United in Diversity,” as stated by the head of the political section of the European Union Delegation in Serbia, Dirk Lorenc, during his visit to this Vojvodina city.
Initially organized in 2012 by the Elementary School “Mladost” from TomaĊĦevac, a village near Zrenjanin, the event has become a tradition. Typically held at the City Square of Freedom, students from 27 state elementary schools in the city of Zrenjanin represent the member countries of the European Union.
