The flower installation in the shape of a heart in the colors of the flags of Serbia and the European Union symbolically represents friendship, a message of support, solidarity, and love of the European Union for the Serbian people, said the ambassador of the European Union in Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, during the unveiling of the installation on Kalemegdan, near the Pobednik monument. On the occasion of Europe Day, Ambassador Giaufret, Minister for European Integration Tanja Miščević, Ambassador of Sweden Anika Ben David, heads of missions of EU member states and Young European Ambassadors paid their respects to the victims of last week’s tragic events in Serbia.
