Head of the EU delegation visited the Roma settlement in Valjevo

Ambassador Sam Fabrizi visited the Roma settlement near the Valjevo hospital. In May and June of this year, the families of that settlement received around 500 packages of food and hygiene products, as aid from the European Union to the most vulnerable families during the corona virus pandemic. Fabrici visited Roma families in Obren Nikolić Street, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and the President of the Coordinating Body for the Inclusion of Roma and Romani Women, Zorana Mihajlović, and the Mayor of Valjevo, Lazar Gojković. As could be heard, everything will be done to obtain space and land for the construction of new apartments for the residents of this Roma settlement in Valjevo, where over thirty children currently live, within the framework of the new program that is being worked on with the EU.
