A public debate within the European School of Debate (ESD) brought together high school students, university students, and citizens of Zrenjanin at the City Hall. The topic of the debate was “This house believes that multinational companies should be held accountable for human rights abuses that occur anywhere in their production chain.” Participants in the debate, presenting their arguments to the audience in the Baroque Hall, demonstrated their understanding of the topic and debating skills they acquired during the 10th cycle of the ESD. This debate is one of eight to be held across Serbia as part of the European School of Debate for high school and university students.
