The European Commission announced the 14 winners of this year’s EU award for Roma integration in the Western Balkans and Turkey. This year’s award was given for achievements that promote the inclusion of Roma within the Digital Agenda and the green economy. The award ceremony was held as part of the EU Roma Week from April 24 to 27, hosted by the European Parliament. The Initiative for the Development of Roma Entrepreneurship in Serbia (REDI Serbia) won first place, while the Forum Roma Serbia won second place. Representatives of both organizations were presented with awards in Brussels.
