Young individuals aged 18 to 30, interested in writing film scripts and having ideas for them, had the opportunity to enhance their writing skills through working on their own ideas in a one-day scriptwriting workshop titled “From Idea to Story – Basics of Short Film Dramaturgy.”
The workshops were held in Novi Sad on August 19th, led by dramatists Maša Seničić and Boris Grgurović.
During the workshop, participants had the chance to familiarize themselves with the fundamentals of film dramaturgy, including themes and ideas, creating dramatic situations, and developing characters. They learned about the basics of screenplay structure for feature films (three-act structure, its components, the exciting moment, the twist) as well as the differences between structure in feature and short films.
This event served as a precursor to the European Film Festival.
